Maryrose Fealey, of Somerville, was found by Somerville police responding to a 911 call, outside a residential complex on North Bridge Street around 10:20 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 30, Somerset County Prosecutor John  McDonald, Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Chief of County Detectives Francisco Roman Jr., and Somerville Chief of Police Dennis Manning said.

Fealey was on the committee of Not an Easy Fix, an organization based in Somerville designed to raise awareness and support about the opioid crisis. She also had her own nonprofit organization, 4theyoungerme.

"Her bright smile was unforgettable," Not an Easy Fix said on Facebook. "She was one to ‘show up’ and to be supportive, bringing positive energy, willingness, and kindness to any task at hand. Mary was proud to have grown up in Somerville."

"You deserved so much better. This one hurt," one person commented on Mary's last Instagram post. "You left a real life legacy and selfless mission behind that we can only dream to carry on and keep moving forward in your honor... But it doesn't change the fact that your gone way too soon. You saved so many lives, I just wish someone was there to save yours sooner. I hope you get the justice you deserve."

No arrests have been made, authorities said.  Investigators are requesting the public’s assistance in notifying investigators if they observed any suspicious activity or an individual in and around the area of North Bridge Street and East Cliff Street between the hours of 8:30 p.m. and 10:20 p.m. on Tuesday.

Anyone with information is asked to call  Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit at 908-231-7100 or the Somerville Police Department at 908-725-0331.
